How Do I Know The Truth

If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.     1 Chr 28:9

I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.     Prov 8:17

There can be only one truth but which truth is it?  There are lots of choices but only one can be true.  But how can you be sure?

Growing up from youth everyone will form their own opinions.

1.  Opinions from the playground

2.  Opinions from schools-our learning and the different classes we were enrolled in.  Our teachers.

3.  Are the studies we are exposed to really the truth?  Is it the truth?

4.  Opinions from our parents and lifestyle

5.  Opinions from our friends

6.  Opinions we form from our success or failures

7.  Opinions from our relationships

8.  Opinions from our military experience

The list goes on and on...Opinions? Knowledge? Wisdom?

The truth or just opinion?  What is the truth?

Are we comfortable with our lives?  Happy with our life? Jobs? Money? Things?

Who am I?  Where did I come from?  What am I doing here?  For what purpose?  Where will I go from here when I die? 

What is my own personal truth and why?

1.  Does age change opinions?

2.  Do we start to worry what is in store for us in the end?

3.  Do we really want to know what the one truth is?

4.  What do we do?  Where do we start anyway?

5.  Ask questions?  Get more opinions?  Read papers?  Listen to the news?  Go to church?  What church?  Who is really correct?  What and whos opinion?

6.  Democrat view or republican view?  Morman view?  Evangelical Christian view?  Islam view?  Jewish view? There are hundreds of views but my God how do we know?

Who is right?  I want to know the one TRUTH!  The only TRUTH!

Is there a God or many gods?  But which God? No God?  God of the Bible? God of the book of Mormon? God of Islam? God of hundreds?

I know the truth because I feel good?  I just know?  I just have this feeling?

I am just so comfortable, I will just worry about the truth later.

I just want to do things my way.  I am honest and nice and I really do care about people. 

I just want to worry about me right now.

I have worked really hard for what I have got.

I wonder if I have an advantage by being born in America?

Many people have labored over these questions and many people today are still trying to figure things out.  There really is only one truth.  And there really is only one God.  And I really did find this one Awesome God we have by reading many of the exact same information that is on this web site.  And you will too!  

Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospels will save it.  For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?  Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?  For whoever  is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.     Mark 8:34
